Leni Riefenstahl Carice van Houten Berlin, Germany —I first talked about this last February when there was a tease article in Variety Magazine . The Jessie Owens story is coming to the big screen.   The film titled, Race  is starring  Stephan James   as Owens and he is joined Jeremy Irons  and William Hurt in this film.     Stephen Hopkins is directing the film.  Shooting  began this week in Berlin. The multi-talented Dutch actress, Carice van Houten  who happens to be my personal favorite has signed on to play the legendary German film director Leni Riefenstahl . Van Houten was cast in the once in a lifetime role of the accidental Dutch resistance hero, Rachel Stein / Ellis de Vries in Paul Verhoeven’s film, Black Book (2006).   That’s still is my favorite film of all time! Chicago, IL— West Side thug, Marquis Harrison , 16, stole a nice Range Rover in Old Town. He was observed by police zipping through a stop sign and rather than quit Harrison tried to run the cops over and recklessly fled leading police on a wild chase. Harrison was loaded up with vodka and Ecstasy as the deadly weapon he drove broadsided Marciea Adkins , a police dispatcher on her way to the safety of her home after working the graveyard shift killing her. Now Harrison is facing a Murder beef as well as a host of other felonies. The bad news here is he probably will escape being tried as an adult for his adult criminal acts. Soon we can count on hearing from those that will blame the police for the murder saying it was their chasing of Harrison that caused the young thug to kill Adkins. We will probably hear that the police stop was a case of racial profiling made by racist cops looking to ruin the life of some poor Black kid. Welcome to Chicago…

Los Angeles, CA —The jury is out deliberating on murder charges against a young White transit cop over a fatal incident at the Oakland's Fruitvale station. A young African-American wanted to hold court on a transit platform while resisting arrest. The offender, Oscar Grant, Jr . was putting on a show for his friends who were recording the altercation on their cell-phone cameras. Fighting police is risky behavior that serves little purpose and only makes things much worse. Holding court in a courtroom instead of the streets is always a better idea, but the show for Grant’s friends had to go on. This time something went terribly wrong and the young cop grabbed his service pistol instead of his electronic stun gun. Instead of lighting up this street performer with electricity he let a round fly from his .40 caliber pistol. Was it an intentional act or an accident? That’s what the jury is trying to determine. Chicago, IL— Chicago’s ambitious and unconstitutional gun laws are working well. The criminals have them and use them on the unarmed. The shootings and stabbings are nearly always confined to the ghetto. Violence in White neighborhoods is nearly always Black on White. The sociologists can makeup whatever reasons they want but the only thing that counts is a prescription to end the carnage. The twisted and ignorant African-American culture must join civilization. The gun laws are having the opposite effect the politicians promised Chicagoans when they enacted the draconian outright bans.  

Washington, DC —To the chagrin of Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor the current Supreme Court overturned her ruling that allowed discrimination against White firefighters because of race. The so-called progressive trend to hire and promote lees qualified minorities simply because discrimination against White Americans was sanctioned by out-of-control Left Wing, whacko jurists should be over now. Discrimination is ugly in any form and this ruling was long overdue. Of course Comrade Barack Obama and his Marxists will stack the Supreme Court with justices that don’t care about our Bill of Rights or form of government. Given an opportunity the Marxists judicial appointees will destroy our way of life. These Communists must be stopped at all cost.

West Hollywood, CA —It’s a tourist magnet. It’s a place to hear musical giants and up and comers. Its part of the franchise set up after the wildly successful and really fun move, The Blues Brothers . The House of Blues is under attack by their residential and commercial neighbors over African-American Hip-Hop music related violence. The neighbors are tired of the noise created by sirens of police, fire department vehicles and helicopters responding to crimes and injuries. In a 12-month period there were 44 arrests and over 100 calls for police service to the trendy Sunset Blvd. club. The problem is the brawling both inside and outside the club exclusivly on Hip-Hop music nights. Normally the House of Blues is an enjoyable place for great entertainment. That all changes when the music and its audience becomes nearly 100% African-American. Chicago --A woman is robbed and shot outside a trendy restaurant while waiting for her boyfriend to pick her up. The police take the report and as always publically list the suspects' three easiest identifiers, sex, race and age. This is done so that people that don’t possess these identifying characteristics can quickly be eliminated from suspicion. Broadcasting descriptions does help police solve crimes. The media more often than not will list anything but race as they use their mass communication to hinder rather than help any search for suspects. Why do they even bother giving and description at all? One only needs to look at the racial population of their jail and prisons to know that violent crime is most often a product from minorities. I guess the media feels Americans are unworthy of knowing the truth.
