Cops, Bodycams and Confrontations.

Rialto, CA—Recent published news reports claim that the use of force by police here has dropped by 60% and citizen complaints against officers are down a whopping 88%.  They attribute this to the new program of having cops wear video cameras that document every interaction with the citizenry.

That was a predictable outcome since cops must constantly deal with troublemakers.   The behavior challenged miscreants are understandably camera shy when it comes to acting out when they know their antics will be displayed on the big screen in their nearest courtroom.  

There is a serious and deepening division between the police and people with that certain anti-police mindset.  This was created by the political Left Wing. 

It’s funny that the Democrats complain the most about the enforcement of the very laws their favorite politicians have passed into law! They don’t blame those despotic freedom-hating politicians but instead fault the cops! 

I’ve learned through significant experience that troublemakers are nearly all Democrats.  Well-behaved people tend to come from the entire political spectrum. 

Few political Conservatives are breaking laws or breaching the peace by comparison.

The Loony Left Wing never saw a law they did not love.  They want to regulate everything from the child’s lemonade stand to arresting bakers that don’t want to make a wedding cake for Gay couples with two grooms.

Mandatory seat belts, helmet laws, sugary drink and plastic bag bans along with every conceivable gun ban are being placed in our law books faster then they can publish them. 

Our cops are being forced more and more to enforce laws allegedly protecting us from ourselves that really only exist to generate cash for government coffers. Cops have been turned into to government extortionists. 

Cops here are now feared like they were in Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union and North Korea.  Cops are finding them selves hated as they enforce laws that are really anti-freedom. 

Liberals are constantly scheming to create more unworkable parking laws intended to generate huge fines and car towing charges.   They scheme with private contractors to create various photo traffic traps that generate cash rather than for public safety.

What they have actually created are millions more difficult confrontations between cops and citizens.  The cop is no longer there to help you but to rob you on behalf of an increasingly Fascist government.  More confrontations simply mean we will have more hate and violence. 

We can reverse all of this or risk creating the kind of government we’ve fought so many wars to avoid. 

Police Booking Photos, Punishment Without Due Process?

Crown Point, IN—Arrest information and police booking photos are public record nearly everywhere.  If you’re accused of a misdemeanor or felony, you’ll get fingerprinted, photographed and often humiliated.  If it’s a high profile crime or you have a even a small bit of celebrity you can count on being put up at a garish public display at a Photo-op Perpwalk too. 

Cops and prosecutors love to brag about high profile cases and are allowed to release lurid details that are sure to become the topic of gossip everywhere.  This also interferes with the right of the accused to a fair trial.   Arrests are often newsworthy but the same is rarely true for vindication or an acquittal. 

The presumption of innocence goes out the window once the media finds an arrest to be newsworthy.  The rules regarding release of documents and information especially in the Information Age need serious revision.  High profile criminal trials have replaced gladiators and feeding people to lions as a form of entertainment.

Today the arrests that are not newsworthy, infamous or otherwise remarkable are just a click away on any search engine.  Routine traffic arrests for excessive speed, driving on a suspended license or DUI are now posted on the Internet for the personal gain of website owners.

Should you be accused of any crime usually there are very unflattering booking photos, fingerprints and probable cause information justifying the arrest are public record. 

Some website owners are demanding and getting the material and gratuitously posting it in the Internet long before there is a conviction related to the arrest.  If there is an acquittal the damaging material is left out there to keep you from getting, jobs, loans or a chance at a relationship with a cautious but desirable potential lover.

Whether you’re convicted or not the website owners offer to remove the damaging material for cash.  In some cases they operated three and for different websites sharing the same information.  Sanitizing the Internet of you booking information and photos could take a lot of money.  Frankly this scam borders on extortion. 

For those convicted of crimes I’m not really concerned that the guilty carry the Mark of Cain.  For the innocents I believe that there should be an effective legal remedy.  Thousands of people are arrested every year because they share similar names or physical characteristics with criminals. They are usually released after the mix-up is resolved through additional police investigation. 

The fix here is simple, to bar the release of the photos or information to the public unless or until there has been Due Process and a conviction.  This could be accomplished by a single federal law or at the state level. 

Web site operators should simply face criminal charges and their sites seized by authorities for displaying material of anyone not convicted of the crime for which they were charged. 

The booking photo above was a prank.  This was taken at the old Lake County, Indiana Jail Museum.  The slate was re-created for the Michael Mann film Public Enemies.  Check the date and it reflects the arrest of John Dillinger well before I was born.   Johnny Depp wore that infamous slate for the film.

Why Are Hollywood Casting Directors Allowed to Commit Criminal Extortion?

Los Angeles, CA—For those that don’t know this I am a member of SAG-AFTRA.   That’s the union that represents actors and other talent for motion pictures, broadcast and web related entertainment.  

My union has worked to fight extortion when it involves sex in order to work but they’ve failed miserably to prevent actors from being forced to pay cash.   Young actors are usually broke and desperate as they try and compete for various roles.

Only a small percentage of actors have agents and those without agents have to get roles before agents will notice them.   In order to get seen and considered actors must audition with casting directors for he less important parts.  If you don’t get the small parts you can never compete for the larger roles.

The problem is the casting directors have set up a criminal enterprise and gotten away with it.  Actors are met with solicitations the moment they enter casting offices for acting classes.  The classes just happen to be run by the casting directors!

For the most part the classes are simply a sham but those paying for the classes get parts and the others don’t.  If actors don’t pay the casting directors they simply don’t get to play! 

There are very serious civil and criminal penalties involved but casting directors have been escaping any and all scrutiny by law enforcement.  The most obvious crimes and torts involved are extortion, restraint of trade and criminal racketeering. 

I ask why is a demand for sex in order to win an acting role and different than a demand for cash?   Actors want to work and making waves by asking the casting directors to end their extortion will in effect blackball the actor out of business forever! 

Acting classes are absolutely necessary.   Actors must run through the repetitive process of learning lines, speaking them understandably and timing the dialog.  There are lots of issues that actors must overcome to avoid becoming caricatures rather than the characters.   However it should never be the casting directors running the acting schools!  That is an obvious conflict of interest.

I ask where has the LAPD, FBI and California Department of Justice been?  I know that is impossible for them to work undercover to dismantle this criminal racket without first joining SAG-AFTRA.   

The victims here are young actors that are often struggling to avoid homelessness.  They are understandably afraid to complain about the people that have the power to banish them from acting altogether. 

Law enforcement has not been effectively been able to deal with this institutionalized decades long crime wave.  Perhaps SAG-AFTRA and the talent agencies need to recognize their responsibilities in this area. 

The Los Angeles City Attorney, Mike Feuer is asking that actors come forward if they have paid for classes or acting workshops run by the casting directors.  If you’re an actor and have the courage to report the casting scoundrels send an email to Feur’s assistant at karla.cortez@lacity.org. 

The only way to stop this crime is not tolerating it in the first place!  Perhaps sending a bunch of these miscreants to Club Fed for a few years might send a strong message!

More than 500 Chicago Murders in 2012 , A Liberal Milestone Revealed.

Chicago, IL—All of the elected officials and bureaucrats in the Windy City are Democrats and most are from the far Left fringe.  There are no Republicans or Conservatives to blame.  Here they have enacted the most unreasonable gun bans in the entire nation.

Corruption in Chicago is beyond legendary.  A significant percentage of the 50 member City Council are either street gang members themselves or are closely related to them.  When it comes to combating crime these politicians will try anything at all as long as it cant and does not work. 

The policy of the city government is to insure that the city’s criminals are the only ones armed.  Over the years they even banned the cops from using police style shotguns.  They have allowed the police department manpower to dip into dangerous levels.  As they cite budgetary problems they handed millions in cash grants to known criminal groups such as Cease Fire. 

Who could forget when the City bankrolled the old P. Stone Nation later known as El Rukin.  The gang members bought lots of guns, ammunition and capitalized their drug, prostitution and extortion activities in style.   The leader, Jeff Fort is still in a Club Fed warehouse somewhere today.

The criminal/political organization running Chicago knows that gang extortion and their armed robberies could be hampered if their intended victims could fight back. 

The keeping and bearing or arms is an American Civil Right.  The city has shamelessly and shockingly violated those rights for decades.  The quality of life has diminished and thousands productive, tax paying citizens have fled for their very lives.

Is the 500 murders figure correct?  I say that it is much higher because of the way the administration cooks the crime statistic books.  They insist on classify a significant number of murders as open death investigations to avoid reporting.

The reason I know about this is that a few years ago I brought WBBM-TV and investigative reporter Pam Zekman a story showing the shenanigans.     I arranged to quietly obtain the entire database of the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

We then pulled from the list the Chicago cases where the Medical Examiner listed the causes and manner of deaths by homicide.  When we compared that with the official police department’s Uniform Crime Reporting totals they undercounted murders by around 200. 

People have a right to defend themselves and families even from criminals that are being facilitated, protected and enabled by government. Chicago’s government is a criminal enterprise that should be resisted and shut down by any means available.

Unfortunately Chicago cops can’t do their jobs as the oath they take demands.  They are far better off simply turning their heads when citizens use deadly force to protect their lives, families and property.   The younger cops are never going to see the money they pay into the pension system and better get out while they can.

Business in the Windy City is doomed.  The voter rolls are so over- bloated with the non-productive, entitlement addicted and the criminal element that there is no hope or help for the future.

Those 500 murders a year in Chicago is only the beginning of a horrific story.  Don’t forget that the 500 undercounted figure is pure fiction anyway.    

Fighting Crime The Chicago Way!

Chicago, IL—In this city known for rampant corruption and cronyism the politicians know what to do with the money they extort from taxpayers!  Whenever possible taxes here are only used to support thieves, thugs and liars. 

Chicago’s ghetto violence is way over the top this year.  Whenever the temperature rises so does the body count.  Chicago's cops are undermanned, outgunned, underpaid and demoralized.  Their pensions are on the fast track to be part of certain future bankruptcy proceedings.  Imagine just what the working cops think of Chicago's latest anti-violence plan? 

The only way to deal with violence like this is hire, train cops and send the violent ghetto rats off to prison until they are too old to hurt anyone.   That works.

However in the “City That Works” any anti-crime or violence program is acceptable only if wastes lots of money and as long as it doesn’t work.   The Mayor and his merry men are going to once again show how theft and bad government still has the affection of Chicago’s voters.

Chicago’s politicians have agreed to hand over $1,000,000.00 to a group calling themselves, “Cease Fire".  They were founded simply to take city tax money and pretend they’re working on violence reduction.  Of course Cease Fire will be working in “secret negations” to make Chicago safer.  I’m sure the time and money will be easy to audit that way. 

Cease Fire is a group of, not so retired ghetto gangsters with significant rap sheets that are supposed to convince their pals not to kill each other, or innocent civilians.

They could hire, train and equip lots of cops that would have a positive result on crime reduction.  They only thing wrong with that idea is, that it works. 

Chicago is bankrupt and we need not wonder why for a second. 

  

Actor, Mel Gibson May be Closer To Being Rid of his Nightmare

Los Angeles, CA--According to postings over at TMZ.com, Oksana Grigorieva’s computer data was seized by sheriff’s investigators armed with a search warrant. I suspect a full forensic examination of this computer may reveal evidence of a conspiracy to commit extortion. E-mails, chat histories, visited websites will lead to many additional avenues to locate evidence.

TMZ also reported that Grigorieva’s unlicensed convicted felon bodyguard, Kristian Herzog is exploring publishing a book that will chronicle his alleged sexual relationship and other activities with her. I can’t imagine sheriff’s investigators not grilling this fellow about any evidence of Grigorieva’s efforts to mislead police and prosecutors. The bodyguard reportedly has loads of text messages and other scandalous pillow talk material he’s marketing while it’s hot. Selling his story and material would however cheapen it's value as evidence in any courtroom.

I would not be surprised to learn that other people's computers have been seized by investigators during this investigation. I'm sure that Grigorieva had plenty of pals giving her advice on how to victimize Gibson that may now face conspiracy charges too.

The information on Grigorieva’s computer will never see the inside of any courtroom as evidence without a live witness that can testify about it because it would be considered hearsay. Prosecutors may well provide immunity to the bodyguard for his crime of acting as a PI without a license and other potential matters in exchange for his testimony. He is said to already be on probation.

Grigorieva’s banking records will also provide plenty of evidence that may be this woman’s undoing. I suspect that Grigorieva’s latest lawyers including the Grand Dame of all Bottom Feeders, Gloria Allred’s daughter, Lisa Bloom will be withdrawing like all the others. Grigorieva will however, wind up with a criminal lawyer who will have to deal with allegations of extortion and possible conspiracy.

I’m going out on a limb to predict that Grigorieva will lose any hope of more payments from Gibson as her parental rights to the child are severed as this extortion investigation explodes in both a family court and a criminal court.

An Update:
Oksana Grigorieva’s lawyer filed a motion seeking return of a copy of the mirror data image of her MacBook Pro hard drive seized from a Fountain Valley private investigation firm.

The search warrant could only have been issued if there was probable cause of a felony crime, and an explanation of what evidence they expected to find.

The felony crime involved is extortion however the Probable Cause Affidavit is still under seal. This affidavit explains the Sheriff’s case and sources for information that justified the warrant. The Sheriff’s response to Oksana Grigorieva’s motion revealed some telling details of the criminal investigation.

It is clear from the Sheriff’s response to the motion Oksana Grigorieva’s lawyer filed that she’s apparently is in a heap of trouble. All signs point in the direction that the little Russian lady may be taking the Perpwalk very soon.

Beating A Robot Camera Traffic Ticket in Court—A New Court Ruling!

Los Angeles, CA—In a court of law there are few hearsay exceptions. Photographs and documents can’t simply jump up on to a witness stand and testify. Foundation must be established and a live witness that saw the event must testify that the photograph accurately depicts what he saw with his own eyes.

Judges around the country have let the Extortion Camera Photo Enforcement Mafia get away with, Hearsay Murder. Not anymore, at least in California.

Since Arizona judge’s retirement is actually attached to traffic fine collections they have a significant conflict of interest every time they hear a traffic case. I will never understand how that kind of crap can stand in America.

That California Camera Hearsay Ruling should get the attention of every lawyer and judge in all 50 states since we are dealing with the same Constitution.

The problem with the camera enforcement evidence is that denies the accused the Constitutional rights to face and cross-examine his accuser. It is insufficient for some clerical person or cop to claim the evidence presented is accurate. The contract providers of the extortion cameras are simply not set up to deal with American Due Process of law.

Los Angeles Officials Use Mob Tactics—Pay Or Die!

Los Angeles, CA—They spent wildly on things taxpayers never needed and now they say they can’t pay police overtime. Instead of curtailing enforcement of victimless crimes like prostitution, gambling and drug offenses they actually announced they can’t pay police to investigate murders!

Los Angeles politicians are intimidating and terrorizing citizens at the worst possible time during a period of economic depression while they empty the jails and prisons.

Long ago, Los Angeles turned into a sanctuary city for trespassers looking for free medical care and gratis public schools to babysit their endless supply of children. As a result the hospitals and schools simply can’t continue.

This city has found every creative way to expand their control over things never intended for government. This is a city run by Marxists. Of course they’re broke; they ran out of other people’s money.

Now they’ve stopped paying homicide dicks overtime to solve the city’s murders. Of course they publicized this to make additional tax demands more palatable for frightened taxpayers who they hope will agree to anything.

Los Angeles politicians want your cash and like any good crime syndicate they are frightening anyone they can to get your money. What these city officials are up to is called EXTORTION.

Why let killers go instead of leaving desperate women alone that sell their bodies in order to feed themselves and children? Someone please tell me how this makes sense? News media folks were led to this story like lambs to the slaughter. How’d they ever get the media to bite on this story without asking tough questions?

Arizona Patriots Sends A Message To State Government

Arizona—I have no clue where this happened or who was involved. It seems that there was a parked photo radar vehicle along a freeway that needed some corrective action.

Some patriots splashed tar all over the vehicle and then applied a coating of feathers. I assume that the vehicle was unusable for its extortion mission for at least a day or two.

I’d much prefer to see the politicians that enable the extortion program get identical treatment. Perhaps they’d learn that government by extortion is bad government.

Sergeant Alan Haymaker’s Needless Death And Chicago’s officials.

Chicago, IL.—Town Hall is a busy police district. Cops working there like everywhere in this city are overwhelmed because of a manpower shortage.

Cops are at the mercy of the Daley/Burke Crime Families that run the town within a 50 member city council. This bunch of thieves, thugs and liars may bear serious responsibility for Sergeant Alan Haymaker’s death.

This city’s politicians once had the perfect incumbent Protection Plan. It was called patronage. They controlled nearly every city job. These workers had two functions, campaigning for the local ward boss and performing the actual work they were hired to do in the first place.

The government jobs in Chicago were all union, well paying and provided great benefits. The Federal courts took a dim view of the practice and dismantled the patronage game but only to a point. This crippled the politician’s reelection efforts and forced them to pay for campaign workers. The money for this quickly came from city contractors.

The city privatized what jobs they could and handed out huge cash contracts to their political cronies who gladly financed the campaigns and showered Chicago’s political whores with wealth. The cash was a true narcotic and spending on unneeded public works was put in overdrive.

State Street was turned into a cost prohibitive mall snarling already overloaded traffic patterns and adversely affected the stores income potential. Soon hundreds of additional millions more were wasted, turning State street back into a street.

Project after project sprang up for so called beautification that was never needed. Chicago has always had its own beauty that cost taxpayers nothing.

Huge concrete planter boxes sprang up everywhere complete with irrigation and federalization requirements for the installed plant life. There are three overwhelming problems with the planter boxes. The boxes snarl traffic, are downright dangerous and detract from the city’s natural beauty.

As a result of reckless spending by Chicago’s political prostitutes, the police department is undermanned, underfunded and crippled.

Police vehicles are in disrepair. Retreaded tires are used as officers are expected to quickly respond to hot calls where lives are on the line.

City officials found the planter boxes had another deficiency and that is the plants inside die from salt used to melt ice on Chicago’s streets. The fix here was a simple one, to skip the salt. That may have created a deadly trap for one good cop who was responding to a burglary call.

Instead of an impartial investigation of this accident and conditions leading up to it, is there a cover-up going on in Chicago right now? Many officers believe that is the case

When the Second City Cop blog and SLC publicized these facts the Mayor, Police Superintendent and others went into a rage about the revelations.

The fellow officers and family of Sergeant Haymaker will never let this outrageous act of official malfeasant conduct go unnoticed.

Chicago is in a crisis that can only be repaired when every last incumbent political creature is removed from office. Strictly enforced term limits will reduce the political corruption.

It should be a crime for any person or business to pay political contributions to any politician connected to a client’s work contract. Those businesses that work for the any should get the contracts without paying extortion to city officials.

Arizona Speed Camera Extortion Contractor Wants Court Rule Changed

Phoenix, AZ—The company collecting millions of dollars to run the hated Robocam Extortion Program want court rules changed. That's because most alleged violators caught simply refuse to pay.

The current court rules requires that any court summons be served under civil process Rule 4. That means a process server must locate and serve the violator or a person that also resides at the violator’s residence. The system is overwhelmed and the summonses expire before they can be lawfully delivered.

They are trying to sneak through a legal exemption to allow sending the summons by first class mail to the alleged violator’s last known address. The risk here is that the company could obtain a court judgment without the violator knowing about it or being able to contest the matter in court. This rule change would be done by Arizona Supreme Court judges, most of which are Democrats apponted by former Governor Naplitano. The legislature and curent governor would be bypassed along with debate.

Vacationers, people traveling on work assignments, military duty and simple hospitalizations could victimize those targeted. As a result, property seizure or garnishment could be levied against people that are innocent or at least unaware they were cited by the Robocams.

To stop this effort people must contact members of the Arizona Supreme Court at once.

The Robocam Extortion Program contract is due to expire. Governor Jan Brewer has vowed to end this vile and pernicious practice brought to Arizona by former Governor Janet Napolitano.

Phoenix’s Monkey Man Is An Extortion Fighting Superhero

Phoenix, AZ—He is the bane of the government officials trying to keep up the spending for things Arizona taxpayer’s don’t need. He is the arch-foe of big government tyranny and extortion. He’s been caught on Arizona's revenue generating speed cameras more than 90 times.

The Department of Public safety's process servers stalking him have served 37 citations on a man they claim has a secret identity, Monkey Man.

The culprit is believed by some officials to be the registered owner of the car they claim Monkey Man drives. A DPS surveillance operation allegedly photographed Dave VonTesmar in the act of donning his highway disguise.

LAPD Victimizing Retired Officers For Sport

Los Angeles, CA—The film industry here has enjoyed a good deal with retired LAPD cops. Film makers need serious traffic control and a visible show of force to protect their stars as they make films in public places.

This is not something that should be funded by taxpayers and ordinary security guards lack training and the ability to provide a sufficient deterrent to potential terrorist acts. The solution that’s worked well for decades has been destroyed by the LAPD.

That time honored solution was to allow trained, certified and honorably retired officers to wear police uniforms along with their hard earned retired shields. They have been able to use motor cycles that have the appearance of being genuine LAPD bikes to perform the duties. They don’t make traffic stops or issue citations. They certainly have the power to make routine citizen’s arrests.

There were no problems other than a silly turf war between Chief Bratton and the retired cops. Bratton won and has forced the cops into t-shirts, reflective vests that have the deterrent effect of minimum wage security workers.

The retired cops deserve to be treated better and so do the film makers. Film makers have enough reasons to film outside Los Angeles and for that matter California. Aside from being taxed to death now they lose their safety too.

This is a horrible idea that’s not justified. Why is Bratton targeting retired cops?

This Woman Is Exactly Why California is A Total Mess

Sacramento, CA--California Speaker of the State Assembly Karen Bass (D-Los Angeles) says the budget is “too complicated” for the voters to understand.

Bass actively campaigned for the tax extortion programs soundly defeated by California’s exceptionally Liberal voters. If it was too radical for even California voters, it shows just how far out of step Bass is with the people whose pockets she’s picking. The real problem for Bass is that the voters understood this tax and budget mess only too well.

Extortion Camera Operator Shot Dead In Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ—As a parting shot to the people of the State of Arizona, former Governor Janet Napolitano arranged to install scores of photo radar traps in a scheme to enrich campaign contributors and extort money from drivers. This despot then went off to join her pals in the Marxist Obama Regime.

This was not about reducing accidents. They have been declining every year. This is about funding a runaway government. This was political extortion, pure and simple.

Many people of Arizona hate the cameras as much as i do. There have been grass-roots efforts to shut them down. The politicians have not responded and have hired thugs to carry out the program. Throughout history only extreme violence seems to curb rogue governments.

No I’m not weeping for the dead man, former golf pro, Doug Georgianni. The 51-year-old had worked for the extortion camera outfit called RedFlex for about three months.

Truthfully I’d rather see a company official or politician responsible for the scheme in a casket instead of this foot soldier. Racketeering and extortion is a risky game to play. Extortion is a horrible business.

People engaged in the business of excessive taxation got a lot worse from our founding fathers who set the example. George Washington, Ben Franklin, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson and thousands of others were the terrorists of their day. We celebrate their victory over extortion and the new nation that resulted.

It’s very simple government must go on a diet or serious population control will begin in America.

To the politicians of Arizona and elsewhere, please take a not so subtle hint and get your hands out of the people’s pockets.

If you want to save hundreds of billions? Get rid of the illegal aliens and stop educating them and providing free medical care with our money. Perhaps it’s time to stop wasting untold billions on a failed and way too violent Drug War. Doing these two things alone would reduce crime and reduce the thoughts of taking American’s gun rights.

A great start would be to eliminate the extortion cameras at once.
