Was the UNABOM Killer, Ted Kaczynski a Psychic? He’s dead at 81.

Evanston, IL—It began here and I suspect Ted Kaczynski figured out what was going on well before1978 when his first two bombs exploded in the month of May.  

The bombs injured a Northwestern University campus cop and later a grad student. This was the beginning of a two decade long terrorism investigation involving numerous bombings from coast to coast. 

The certified genius and Harvard grad, must have been a psychic because he knew what to expect from developing technology.  He somehow knew that technology be would be weaponized and abused by rogue governments unleashing a massive Shit Show on all of us.  

Did he also predict the weaponization of the coronavirus that was unleashed upon us by China?  We still must wonder if our own government was involved in that depopulation effort.  

The deception and bad acts by the political Left has killed millions. The only people that got real immunization were the criminals pumping out ineffective vaccines at warp speed for staggering profits.  It looks to me, like a massive, Snake Oil scam to say the least. 

Everything Kaczynski predicted in his manifesto, Industrial Society and Its Future has so far come true!  Whistle blowers, Julian Assange,  Edward Snowden and Chelsea (Bradley) Manning revealed just how our own government’s abuse of technology and unlawful spying programs invaded the privacy of every man, woman and child in America.  Not only has nothing changed by these revelations, it’s actually gotten worse. The only ones punished to date were the whistle blowers!

Kaczynski was absolutely desperate to get his “conspiracy theory” out to the general public. He wanted controls put on the  research and development of what he felt was a very dangerous race to technology.  As smart as Kaczynski was, the best plan he could come up with would be to target and bomb those who he felt had culpability.

The FBI painstakingly re-created every bomb that they believe Kaczynski assembled. I personally examined these clever duplications and actually shot video of them.  

I was transfixed on this case as an investigative TV news producer.  Suddenly, I got a call from the late producer, John Siceloff of ABC World News Tonight on April 6, 1996.  John assigned me to do whatever I could to shed light on Kaczynski and his arrest.   

This was all unfolding on the small town of, Lincoln, Montana. ABC News Reporter, Bill Redeker, and his photographer were racing to Lincoln to cover the story. I had to act fast.  Calling the local sheriff and the FBI was futile since no information was forthcoming and a long line of worldwide media were already  assembled at the doors of those agencies.  

I knew what to do! I opened up a database of the 200 or so  listed phones in Lincoln, Montana.  At the top of the alphabetical list was, AAA towing. My police experience paid off handsomely because I knew the tow truck outfits all have police scanners, and they work closely with police to tow the vehicles of people arrested, or for other purposes.  I made the call as I mistakenly thought that they would have towed any car belonging to Kaczynski.

For starters, when they answered the phone, I could hear the police scanners blaring in the background!  I talked to a rather accommodating fellow and asked if they towed  Kaczynski’s car.  The man laughed at me informing me that Kaczynski only had a bicycle.  He told me he could see it chained to his mailbox if he stepped out to the front of his shop. He informed me that Kaczynski actually lived in a tiny shack, smelled bad and was a very peculiar guy.

I asked the tow truck guy if he knew him and he said only slightly.  He told me he preferred not to talk to Kaczynski because of his poor hygiene.  However, what he told me next was purely golden!  He told me that Kaczynski was very close to the local librarian, and the lady that ran the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.  Kaczynski went to the library everyday! I thanked my source profusely and put in a quick call to Bill Redeker!

It was already 3:30 PM and I immediately told Bill to quickly sneak over to the library and interview, that librarian! Then he should race to the chamber of commerce to capture the words of the lady running that outfit.  As a result redeker obtained two amazing and exclusive, interviews! That left every other news  organization empty handed and out in the cold for a full 24 hours! 

Recently, I wanted to pull another coup by interviewing Kaczynski again myself.  He was all but forgotten serving four life sentences at the Supermax prison in Colorado.

I checked only to find out Kaczynski was transferred to a medium security medical facility in Butner, NC!  At 81, he was in seriously declining health and getting a meaningful interview now would be difficult to say the least. 

We just received the news that Kaczynski was found unresponsive and his cell. They transported him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The Charlotte Observer, reported an anonymous source claimed that he died by suicide.  

It is routine practice everywhere, that when prisoners die, that they receive a full autopsies, and toxicology screens.  I’m going to wait for the local medical examiner to report his findings.  

It’s now time to reread and carefully examine that UNABOM manifesto, Industrial Society and Its Future.  

“Crazy” Ted Kaczynski Was Not Insane! He was Clairvoyant!

Lincoln, MT—In 1978 a two-decade bombing campaign began that untimely took three lives and maimed some 23 people.  Ingeniously hand constructed bombs were delivered, mailed or otherwise planted targeting people involved with advanced technology.  It was an effort to intimidate those involved to obstruct and discontinue their efforts.

I worked on this massive investigation myself for among others, ABC News.  The FBI dubbed the bomber as the, "UNABOM" (UNiversity & Airline BOMber).  Their agents meticulously reconstructed the bombs in their investigative process that consumed many of their entire careers.   

Everyone was trying to guess the reasoning behind this frightening serial killer’s actions.  The New York Times received a somewhat strange letter on April 24, 1995.  The author promised "to desist from terrorism" if the Times or the Washington Post published his manifesto, Industrial Society and Its Future (also called the "Unabomber Manifesto"), in which he argued that his bombings were extreme but necessary to attract attention to the erosion of human freedom necessitated by modern technologies requiring large-scale organization. 

That manifesto eventually led to the unmasking of the man responsible, Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski.   Kaczynski was a genuine Harvard educated egghead with a PhD in mathematics.  Kaczynski was so beyond brilliant he did not fit into our society.  He shunned anything involving technology including automobiles.   He took up residence in a tiny shack and spent countless hours at his local library. 

Friends were elusive to Kaczynski who limited his human connections to two women in the small hamlet of Lincoln.  One was the librarian and the other headed the local Chamber of Commerce.

Kaczynski was not pleasant to be around primarily because of his lacking personal hygiene and unkempt appearance.  Most people avoided this eccentric fellow.  Once Kaczynski’s own brother David tipped off the FBI the so-called UNABOM suspect’s mad world came to a halt. 

This was a huge news story at the time and I was once more working with ABC News network reporter Bill Redeker.  I worked with Redeker before on the Oklahoma Bombing case and on both of these stories and our reports came way out on top.

A picture of Kaczynski soon emerged and the consensus was that he was simply crazy.  His redundantly re-published manifesto was anything but an easy read.  However to me Kaczynski’s message was clear and hauntingly ominous.

Technology was about to strangle all of society in a world far worse than George Orwell’s 1984!  Both Orwell and Kaczynski were absolutely right in their prophecies.  Government and select corporations now have the massive power to see and hear whatever they want almost anywhere they want. There is no privacy and there is no escape from those in power.  Between Google, the NSA and thousands of smaller government contractors we are in a police state that would make Adolf Hitler a very jealous man.

Right now in Oregon there are some brave men that are challenging the federal government’s authority to seize and control public land.  Decades of family business are at stake.  Now the government is about to crush this protest just like the BATFE, FBI and our military unlawfully did to the men, women and children in Waco, TX during the Branch Davidian Massacre.

Already in Oregon the Feds have compromised cell phones, deployed listening devices and drones to selectively locate, ambush and even kill one protester so far. 

The question remains as to how far this kind on tyranny will continue.  Will the federal enforcement agents follow their oaths of office or remain loyal to tyrannical government bureaucrats instead. 

We have learned from history that despots like Hitler maintained control by allowing his thugs to seize and keep citizen’s personal property, money, businesses and land.

Keeping government enforcers on the side of the citizenry always fails under despotic regimes.  Corruption always rules.  Today we have a totally corrupt government and our elected and appointed leaders are controlled by greed for power and money.  They don’t give a rat’s ass about the people that elected them.

Kaczynski saw the power that technology would give politicians and had the vision to understand that eventually life, as we knew it was on a track straight to Hell.  Kaczynski unsuccessfully tried to stop this but nobody would listen.  

Our Second Amendment to keep and bear arms has been completely hijacked.  It was meant to give the people defense parity with our government.  We allowed this important right to become meaningless.   The government has the power and technology to murder far beyond anyone’s worst nightmare.  The small arms we have are no match for our government’s current killing tools.

Kaczynski was a lot of things, but crazy he was not.  His warnings went ignored as we laughed him off.  I for one am not laughing anymore.

The Unabomber Was Really Just a Visionary Trying to Save Mankind

Lincoln, MT—In the 1990’s I was assigned to investigate the case of a man I would learn was Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski, PhD by ABC News.

This adventure began for me when I visited an International Chiefs of Police Convention. In the exhibit hall I found a fascinating FBI display there of reconstructed intricate booby-trap style bombs.  They were identical to the ones used in the deadly Unibomber campaign that killed three and maimed an additional 23 people.  The FBI wanted to share the information with the thousands of local, state and federal law enforcement officers vising the convention.

All of the bombing victims were involved with universities and airlines and the FBI codenamed their investigation, "UNABOM" (UNiversity & Airline BOMber).

Kaczynski sent an extortionate letter to The New York Times on April 24, 1995 saying he’d end the bombings if the Times or the Washington Post published his manifesto, Industrial Society and Its Future (The media called this body of work,  "The Unabomber Manifesto").

Kaczynski contended that his bombings were necessary to showcase the rapid erosion of human freedom.   He saw the future where technology would facilitate an unimaginable surveillance police state where things like government remote control killings would become commonplace. 

Kaczynski had the foresight to understand that our world was going to be a miserable place to live completely void of any privacy or control over our own lives.

Kaczynski was a gifted genius however that somewhat hampered the effective writing of his Manifesto.  It was an incredibly dry read and somewhat difficult for most people to understand. 

It was on April 3, 1996 that the FBI made the announcement that they had caught the Unabomber.  I got the frantic call from ABC News producer John Siceloff who was desperate for information.  ABC News had scrambled a large crew to that remote town of Lincoln but they were still many hours away.  The telephone lines were overloaded and information was scarce.

I never saw the inside walls of Journalism schools except for seminars I attended at Columbia and Northwestern with the IRE, Investigative Reporters and Editors.  I quickly became an aficionado of CAR (computer assisted reporting).

I was doing a lot of freelance investigative producing primarily for Local Phoenix television news.  Often various networks needed help and I’d get and respond to their summons.

I knew how to handle this one with the very latest computer tools.  I used a reverse telephone database simply because I knew Lincoln was a small town and most of the inhabitants were witnessing the action as it was unfolding.  I would simply call every businesses until I got the information I needed.

At the top of the phone list was AAA Towing.  From my experience I knew that towing operators always know what the cops are doing.  They tow the cars of suspects and know the addresses involved.  I made the call and could hear their police scanner in the background.  That towing operator was a wealth of information for me. 

I soon learned everyone in the town knew Kaczynski.  There was no car to tow because he used a bicycle.  He lived in a tiny shack and was somewhat unkempt and even smelly.  The towing operator told me that there were two women that knew him well.  One was the director of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and the other was the town librarian.

I immediately called Siceloff and gave him the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the two women.  That evening ABC World News Tonight broadcast exclusive interviews of the women leaving the competition in the dirt.

After this arrest the biggest question was related to Kaczynski’s sanity or lack of it.  Investigators and reporters did not really understand this strange character.  Kaczynski refused to consume or use modern technology devices and viewed them as cursed.  The man was generally dismissed as a nut case.  It’s obvious now that he felt the injuries and deaths from his bombs were a small price to pay to slow down writer George Orwell’s worst nightmare.

Today in view of the NSA scandal and how an American president has been given absolute power Kaczynski now seems perfectly sane.  He simply tried to warn an apathetic world that refused to listen.   Even with the bombing campaign still nobody listened.
