Conrad Murray Verdict Is In

Los Angeles, CA—The loonies are all over the Criminal Court Building at 210 Temple Street. This is the location of many high profile trials that attract idle and pathetic people who apparently need to get a life. They chant, carry signs and demand guilty verdicts and punitive maximum penalties. They absolutely have a First Amendment rights to show their ugly ignorance.

Anyone observing a criminal trial who would pray for a guilty verdict or cheer if one was reached needs serious mental health treatment.

The jury has deliberated on this Manslaughter trial less than three days. We are all trying to fathom what the jury has guessed who was responsible for Michael Jackson’s death. The verdict will be read at 1:30 PM Pacific time.

The verdict is Guilty--November 29, 2011 is the date for sentencing. Judge remands Murray to custody pending sentencing even though he may well get probation.

I have to ask what defense lawyer would allow a client suspected of a serious crime to be interviewed by police? It was Murray's own words that caused this conviction. NEVER TALK TO THE COPS UNLESS YOU LIKE PRISON.

Who Killed Michael Jackson?

Los Angeles, CA—Conrad Murray, MD is on display in a Show Trial being broadcast internationally. Prosecutors are grandstanding like peacocks as tongues of every gossip-mongering pundit are furiously wagging.

Witnesses have testified that Dr. Murray removed “evidence” and sought to remove even more in anticipation of police investigating this predictable death. I find the testimony of the Jackson compound folks too well rehearsed. I think we should at least wait until the defense has an opportunity to either offer evidence or testimony before buying this stuff as dogma.

Michael Jackson was an enormously talented fellow that bought everything including friends and children with the unimaginable wealth he was able to gather during his lifetime.

Jackson unlike most of us on earth never had to hear the word, “No.” Jackson was surrounded with well-paid yes men. The members of the medical community seemed owned the moment Jackson became their patient.

There was no shortage of plastic surgery for Jackson in his quest to shed his biological race and create his ambiguous sex. There was no shortage of physicians willing to medicate Jackson into the stratosphere. Were the doctors corrupt, or was it the patient that dictated the course of his own treatment?

Jackson was addicted to plastic surgery, drugs and little boys. His wealth enabled his mortally dangerous conduct with those addictions. So many people overlooked those socially unacceptable activities because they were in awe of Jackson’s celebrity, talent and wealth.

I hate the circus show trial of Dr. Murray. I hate the people that don’t have a life becoming a modern day lynch mob clamoring for a guilty verdict.

The jury should have been sequestered by the judge and cameras barred from the courtroom. There is no way the jury can or will avoid those things ordered by the court.

Maybe Dr. Murray broke the law and maybe the state lacks sufficient evidence to convict him. Maybe Dr. Murray was trying to desperately find a way to wean Jackson off drugs? It’s clear that Dr. Murray asked for at least one additional physician, be brought in to treat Jackson as he obviously tried to protect the doctor patient confidentiality.

Dr. Murray obviously needed help in treating Jackson. It’s clear to me, he recognized Jackson had a life threatening disease and felt he could not handle this alone.

In the end it was excess that killed Michael Jackson like so many others in the music business. The fact is that living until age 50 under the circumstances made Jackson a real survivor considering the ages of so may others fallen because life in the danger zone.

Dr. Murray deserves a fair trial but won’t get one. Even if he were to be acquitted what I see happening is wrong.

I consider Jackson a patient that dictated his own medical treatment with the promise consistent with the theme of his last concert tour, “This is It!”

Michael Jackson murdered himself. Dr. Murray was in the middle of a medical nightmare but that’s exactly why we have doctors and they get the big bucks. Was he helping Jackson or simply enabling him? I think the answer should remain part of the sacred doctor patient secrecy.

Okay The Jackson Memorial Hooked Me On One Great performance

Los Angeles, CA—No, I did not win tickets to attend this event and may well have scalped them if I did.

I knew they’d have some great entertainment and they did. I have always loved good music and learned a long time ago that good music transcends politics, race and most things that divide us as members of the mysterious human species.

For me John Mayer stopped the show with his rendition of, Human Nature. Yes, I also liked the original of that Jackson sang.

Jackson is dead, his demons died with him. Jackson’s dark side was indeed troubling. Culpability for evil conduct is a matter for our maker. Some people are compelled to do things that would never enter most people’s minds. Jackson was indeed strange to most of us.

If we are not tempted to commit evil deeds why are we somehow of superior character? The person who is tempted and yet abstains would be superior. Jackson’s maker has already judged him.

The people of our world will judge Jackson by his huge contribution to music and entertainment with their own hard earned cash.

I wish I had that kind of talent but would like to settle for a percentage of the future sales and so do all of you.

The Michael Jackson Sendoff Concert Will Definitely Rock In L.A.

Los Angeles, CA—Tuesday’s Memorial service for Michael Jackson hold serious promise of being the rock concert of the decade. The tickets are free. You just have to win one of the 17,500 seats awarded. As of yesterday they were well over a half-million requests made on line. That’s expected to double by 6:00 PM today. The drawing will be on Sunday.

The odds of actually winning a ticket were about 1 in 183..

The memorial is set for 10:00 AM on Tuesday at the Staples Center. They will seat 11,000 and another 6,500 ticket winners will have to settle for watching the event on big screens at the Nokia Theater.

I suspect the overflow crowd will be large, unhappy and a serious challenge for the LAPD. One thing for sure this event will have no precedent. Even the greatest psychics will have difficulty predicting the behavior of thousands of unhappy young Jackson mourners.

I will let you all know Sunday if I was able to score two tickets.

An Update: Reportedly there were no less than 1.6 million people seeking Jackson Memorial Service tickets before they closed the process down. We will know by Sunday if we bagged the two seat request. The odds of getting a ticket are about 1 in 183.

Michael Jackson’s Second Autopsy

Los Angeles, CA—King of Pop, Michael Jackson’s immediate family members obtained control over the pop star’s remains once the Coroner released them. The Jackson family is exercising their absolute to hire their own forensic pathologist to second guess the autopsy done yesterday.

The original autopsy would have involved a huge Y shaped incision to the torso enabling the removal and examination of every organ. The organs themselves are removed, weighed, and sections of them are sliced away for microscopic and toxicological examination.

The scull is opened and the brain is removed and sectioned as are the other organs. All of the organs including the brain are finally tossed into a large plastic bag. When the examination is completed the bag of sectioned organs is placed inside the torso cavity. The body is sewn shut with butcher’s string. The skull is reassembled and a large wad of cotton replaces the brain.

The second autopsy would most likely be conducted at the funeral home handling Jackson’s internment services. The second autopsy requires the body being reopened and the plastic bag is opened so new organ samples can be sectioned and saved for the same examinations as the first examination. The tissue samples will be removed to a proper laboratory. Generally there is no need to reopen the skull.

The body is closed again as in the first examination. Now the mortuary will prepare the body for normal embalming and viewing.

I suspect that there exists a video tape of one or both autopsies because of the importance of the findings. There will be lots of photographs at the least.

I don’t expect there to be any dispute between examiners as to manner and cause of death. Hopefully this will put most or all of the conspiracy theories to bed and Jacko won’t be regularly sighted walking the streets of Las Vegas like poor old Elvis.

A Doctor’s Oath Is To Cause No Harm

Los Angeles, CA—The final answers are not yet discovered or positive about the death of Michael Jackson. We do know Jackson has had ongoing and disabling issues with high powered narcotic pain killers.

Because of an ambitious sold out 50 concert tour in the UK the promoters demanded that Jackson have a round the clock physician protecting their huge investment.

Apparently Jackson was allowed to choose the doctor assuming this role. That doctor was Conrad Murray, MD. Tabloid rumors suggest that Murray had financial problems and jumped at the chance to tend to Jackson’s needs and reap the financial rewards.

It has been suggested that Murray injected Jackson with his final hotshot of Demerol. Was this therapeutic treatment or just done because of a sick man’s addiction and a medicine man’s greed? I suspect that the addicted Jackson would have never tolerated a physician that would abide by the Hippocratic Oath over Jackson’s chemical cravings.

Jackson’s family and indeed the world are waiting for those answers. Arrangements are being made for a second autopsy on the pop legend’s remains. You can’t rush toxicology results beyond the examiner’s capabilities and still maintain reliable results.

As for Dr. Murray, I suspect he is in for the legal nightmare of his life. Defending the administration of Demerol to an addict to do nothing more than feed an addiction is criminal. If that act results in death homicide related charges can’t be far away.

Dr. Murray needs a top notch criminal lawyer right now and a bail bondsman for the immediate future. If Murray has criminal culpability he will incur the wrath of the Jackson family, their lawyers and the millions of angry fans of the gloved one.

Update: Dr. Murray has reportedly retained Houston criminal lawyer, William M. Stradley to handle an expected prosecution.

Michael Jackson A Study In Paradox

Los Angeles, CA—With the premature death of pop legend Michael Jackson, I don’t know if He should be despised, pitied or loved.

No matter your opinion of Jackson’s dark side, he was a master of entertainment. He was as prolific as any entertainer that ever lived on this earth. He invented dance moves that defied gravity, made music that at one time or another was appealing and enjoyable no matter what your taste was.

Jackson’s work employed thousands over the years. Jackson was a major corporation that launched so many careers of otherwise incidental people.

Some say Jackson was an evil serial pedophile. If Jackson hurt children, thankfully it was not by torturing or killing them. Evil can only be measured by the mental state of the offender and we have little knowledge of just what Jackson’s real culpability was for his conduct.

Because of Jackson’s immense wealth he was a natural extortion target. You may hate Jackson’s abuse of Children but I hate the unindicted co-conspirators much more. Those are the parents that let their little boys sleep over with a man who wears more makeup than his sisters. Were they hoping for an opportunity for a $20 million hush money payout too?

If we do indeed have an afterlife and we are to be rewarded or punished for our deeds I’m sure our maker would mitigate punishment based on just what we are made of. Some humans have little impulse control while others never act on impulse. Some people commit mad acts that would never enter other’s minds.

Michael Jackson will be judged by his entire life and history, not just the last decade that’s been an unmitigated disaster.

The death and mourning of Michael Jackson is proving to be a huge event and no mater your opinion of him there will be no more live Jackson entertainment. That’s indeed sad. Because we’re blessed with technology Jackson’s works will live on indefinitely.

I prefer to remember Jackson for his work, good deeds and think of all the kids his employees were able to put through college because of that money machine, Michael Jackson.

As for Michael Jackson his addictions and pain are over.

Michael Jackson Madness Death And UCLA Medical Center

Los Angeles, CA—In Westwood Village is the sprawling campus of UCLA. Their Ronald Reagan facility is where pop icon Michael Jackson was taken by fire department ambulance. Jackson was receiving CPR and that continued for an additional hour before he was pronounced dead at 2:26 PM.

The rumors are starting to spread within the ranks of gossip reporters that Jackson last ride was fueled with Demerol an injectable drug similar to Morphine. This may well be an accidental overdose of a controlled drug.

The Los Angeles County Coroner will be doing an expedited autopsy and toxicology screen. The results will be released in a piecemeal fashion as information becomes available.

So far the glory boys at the LAPD Robbery Homicide Unit have maintained control over the death scene and have seized and impounded at least one vehicle. This sounds like drugs are involved and very soon someone will need a good lawyer and bail bondsman.
