Arizona Has Decimated the Liberal, Feel Good “Gun Buy-Back” Schemes!

Phoenix, AZ—In Phoenix and Tucson there is the Large City Disease called Liberalism.  For some reason the larger cities of our nation attracts the Looney political Left and their facilitation of poverty, crime and ignorance. 

Between the larger cities are the smaller ones and the rural areas inhabited for the most part by hard working, law-abiding, and taxpaying productive people. 

The political Right controls the productive and peaceful areas.  The Left abets violence, dependence and ignorance in the places under their control.  It’s is a simple fact that per-capita violence, crime and despair is always over the top in large cities run by the Left.  The collective self-esteem of big city inhabitants is usually right in the toilet.

The Left hates gun rights preferring that their intended victims cannot endanger criminals.  The bans against possession and the carrying of firearms; serves as nothing more than a “Mugger Protection Act”. 

The Left renamed numerous ordinary firearms as, Assault Weapons demonizing them.  Gun safety is a term for handling firearms in a way to avoid accidents.  The Left has renamed that as, "Sensible Gun Laws.”  Their so-called Sensible Gun Laws are simply bans of every description and obstacles that only impact the law-abiding people. 

The Left has found a terrific way to waste tax money and sometimes involve sponsors from the community.  They are the gun buy-back events.  These government gadflies invite anyone and everyone to exchange unwanted guns including toys for tax money!  No questions are asked as they hand out the cash, sneakers and debit cards.  Leftist media collaborators give the politicians free face time while promoting the massive waste.  Then the Liberals all pat each other on the back as the collected firearms are destroyed by wasteful fools.  

Arizona found a great way to stop the ineffective and wasteful buy back events.  They simply created a state law forbidding the destruction of the collected firearms.  Any firearms collected for any reason by state or local government agencies must be sold to law-abiding citizens.   

Phoenix and Tucson can deal with crime by sending the tax money to schools, police agencies and foster parents.  That might actually work to reduce crime far more effectively than these gun buy-back charades.

Los Angeles, CA—Gun rights haters are dancing in the bloodof the children murdered by that well known mentally ill Sandy Hook killer.  When he could not buy a gun froma sporting goods store he murdered his own mother and robbed her of herguns.  We know the rest.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced Monday thatthe city’s annual gun “buyback” event has been moved up following the SandyHook murders.   They moved it up bymonths to December 26, 2012

Bring your rusty and unserviceable crap firearms from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. on Dec. 26 at two locations: Los Angeles Sports Arena, Parking Lot 6,at 3939 South Figueroa Street and Van Nuys Masonic Temple at 14750 Sherman Way.  This a no questions asked event so they can’tmake you prove you did not come in from Arizona and Nevada!

They will pay you $100.00 for any handgun, rifle or shotgun.  If they deem it an “assault weapon” you get$200.00.   They will pay you with giftcards instead of cash so use them up on your way out of town.  Then buy some new guns, ammunition and getsome custom grips from Eagle Grips!

Since they are using tax dollars enjoy your windfall with avengeance.  I only hope we can bankruptLos Angeles for this symbolic and wasteful foolishness.

Chicago’s Great Gun “Turn In” Scam

Chicago, IL—The Windy City’s Political Gadflies will be out in force once again.  They are hosting another so-called Gun Turn In for guns, bb guns and toys. 

People once again will be enticed with immunity from arrest and gift cards to turn in virtually anything that even looks like a gun.

These events bring people in from suburban areas, Indiana and Wisconsin who are able to sell Chicago some completely unserviceable and worthless firearms.  The truth is that area firearm dealers (remember Chicago has no firearm dealers) go out of their way to collect junk to bring in for substantial profits. 

Chicago's gun-rights hating political and religious advocates will all sing and hold hands while they convince each other that they are somehow saving lives.  The problem here is there exists no data whatsoever, anywhere that can even provide a shred of empirical evidence that a single injury or death is prevented by these efforts.

One thing for sure, is that anyone wanting a serviceable weapon can use the proceeds obtained at the Gun Turn In to buy a working gun and live ammunition. 

This is not going to lower the vast numbers of senseless shootings that almost exclusively happen in Chicago’s ghettos.  This will not save lives.  This is nothing more than a very extravagant and expensive effort at symbolism over substance.

This will however cost taxpayers a bundle for media ads, manpower and the cash paid out.  We can continue to wonder how many additional burglaries and gun thefts will take place because of this heavily promoted Chicago fencing operation?

As usual, Chicago’s worthless members of the media will ask no questions or talk to nobody from the NRA or Illinois State Rifle Association.  They will never ask who pays for this fiasco or how much it really costs taxpayers.   That’s because Chicago’s media has become nothing more than public relations agencies for local incumbent Democratic political campaigns. 

Chicago’s political incumbents can always count on lots of valuable face time courtesy of local media by simply repeating the same failed and money wasting programs like the Gun Turn In.
