I was up in the SF Bay Area attending
the IRE, Investigative Reporters and Editors Conference last week. I also had a teriffic lunch in Hollywood yesterday.

Paul you have got the life. Travelling around the most beautiful places in the U.S. and abroad. Do you ever miss being the Police or CPD?
I used to think that being a Chicago cop was the greatest job in the entire world. It was pretty good at one time. In retrospect I chose the wrong field and should've been a physician. Do I miss it? Yes. Do I miss what the job has become today? Hell no! You would have to take me at gunpoint to make me go to that job today.
I enjoy traveling whenever I can and in some respects I'm very lucky. In other ways things could always be better. I'm grateful for each day I get to live, breathe and play with my toys!
