I got mine from B&H Photo in New York. $469.00 is the going price for this. The competition is stiff and they're will better ones sold cheaper very soon
You should get a GoPro camera and familiarize yourself with its operation and video editing software. Do allow yourself to become intimidated by the technology when you can conquer it. :)
