Everyone should carry a digital recorder in the car and elsewhere.
You get stopped by the police turn it on.
You have a neighbor problem or with anyone, turn it on.
However on the phone there's no grace or wiggle room re the laws re an expectation of privacy.
Wouldn't a standard baby monitor serve the same function?
In Georgia, as long as one party to the conversation knows that it's being recorded it's perfectly legal. It's easy to use the answering machine to record calls. I'm sure the laws vary greatly state by state.
Isnt it amazing in Illinois how the wiretapping and electronic surviellence statutes are set up.Its like they were designed to protect corrupt Chicago/Cook County politicians.Nah.
