Chicago lawyer Joel Brodsky with Drew Peterson last week in Chicago after lunch.
Here is the charging document in the Drew Peterson case. It looks like the defense will present a motion to reduce bail on May 18, 3009. This site will have all the latest information, stay tuned.
The brand new, so-called Forfeiture by Wrongdoing statute to allow hearsay evidence will be central to this prosecution. That law was passed by special request of the Will County State’s Attorney specifically for the Peterson case. The legal experts I’ve talked to say the law is unconstitutional and can’t possibly stand.

PROVE IT!
I suspect that fluid is believed to be water.
That prosecution has a long tough road ahead.

We as professionals must always remain impartial. Unless of coarse if we'd rather be activists than buisness owners.
They key issue is the drowning and how the MD decided it was now a homicide. Thats the area to attack. Thats should have been easy to determine when the body was fresh. There would have been some soft tissue damage to hold her under.
I’m always impartial on any case I’m involved in but I jealously safeguard the rights of my clients to a fair trial.
The Peterson case will involve more that the forensic medical evidence. It’s all about greedy family members that want to cash in on life insurance and other assets that’s not theirs. It's for the children.
The yet to be introduced hearsay evidence is full of absolute lies. This will be a defense investigator’s case…
Can you tell us how much life insurance was on the victim? Was any of it paid out?
If it was a notable amount, that looks suspecious.
