Springfield, IL—I don’t agree with much any Illinois Democrat thinks about the way government should be run. That certainly includes Governor Rod Blagojevich. The Illinois Senate is conducting an impeachment farce under color of law.The Senate is weighing select snippets of hearsay testimony. I guess if these ate truths they are by definition half or quarter truths.
Calling this a sham is an understatement. Are they using this as a stall tactic to protect members of the Obama Administration? That seems to be the only viable reason. I refuse to accept they’re acting out of ignorance of the law since there are so many lawyers involved in the proceeding.

Everything in Illinois is corrupt.Chicago runs the State,the whole State.It makes we wonder about the chicago field office,they do nothing.

Sorry, but even if Blago didn't get a fair trial in the Senate, I am one happy camper to see him booted out of office. It was especially nice to see the tollway I-Pass signs (with his name plastered for all to see) being covered up today, one day after he got bounced. What goes around, comes around, eh Milorad?
I would rather have a deeply divided Democratic/Communist Party in Illinois, Rod in office, than a united Communist Party.
