Why Fly The Not So Friendly Skies Anymore?

In the latest revelation of the evolution of our POLICE STATE, Carl Pershing was convicted of the federal felony crime of interfering with a flight crew. It seems he was kissing his girlfriend and failed to heed two warnings from some uptight Southwest flight attendant.

Between the TSA weenies and bimbo flight attendants there is little reason to withstand the torture of commercial air travel anymore. I hope for but don’t expect the judges on the appeals court to toss this conviction out like so much garbage.

You have to read this insanity to believe it.

Hmmm, seems like you have a really strong dislike of the TSA and airline industry. I read this story and thought that the stewardesses acted appropriately. From what I understand, the guy had his face buried in the girls crotch in view of others who complained. I could understand this type of activity if it was on a night flight and they were in the back of the plane in a secluded row, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Some of these people have no class and would probably not hesitate to start having sex right there in full view. These days, if you are dumb enough to cause a problem on a plane, then you should get arrested upon landing.
Strongly dislike? How about pure hatred! The TSA scum and the new attitudes of the flight attendants are beyond horrible. Flying used to be relaxing and fun. Today we are transported like prisoners on Con-Air.

The so-called kissing garbage was nothing worthy of a life long felony conviction or prison term. It would be a misdemeanor at best but for new laws we did not need.

This is an over-reaction all the way around and another reason to HATE the morons at the TSA and Southwest.

As a retired law enforcement person w/ 30+ years w/ CPD, I must side w/ the airline employees.

There are many things that are "merely" inappropriate. However when merely inappropriate actions take place under certain circumstances, it becomes something greater.

I have been on several flights where, after the door is closed and the "no phones" announcement, some moron is still yaking on their cell phone. I've seen and smelled people take off their shoes and spread out over vacant seats, like they were at home.

I usually sit to the rear of a plane; and it never ceases to amaze me, the mess left by my fellow passengers (napkins, food wrappers, bottles, strewn about as though the flight attendants don't come down the aisle several times to collect trash. If you want to keep your crossword puzzle till the plane lands, fine, the carry it off with you.

Flight attendants are NOT law enforcement. I would compare them to sports referees. They are there to keep things moving and try to manage the operation of the flight.

when they ask a person to: turn off the cell phone, put the food tray up, take their seat etc. , they are not looking for a debate.

I would rather have a flight attendant who asserted themselves on behalf of all the passengers then have them look the other way and let inconsiderate morons take over.

sure there are plenty of stupid and redundant procedres that they must follow, but they are in place for the same reasons we get stupid warnings on products we buy.

We have become a world where rules and procedures are for everyone else, but me, "don't you know you I am".

I am sure your feelings about TSA and airlines were also felt by citizens about you, when you were the police. How many arrests for disorderly conduct for wanting to discuss the circumstances of that disturbence?
I have no problem making a safety issue or assault a felony but not this little crap.

A simple misdemeanor disorderly conduct case would be more than enough here.

Enough is enough. I avoid flying whenever I can to avoid the candy-assed Con-Air treatment.

A 40 Caliber Nightmare Is Caught On Tape.

So you’re confident that that .40 caliber S&W service round will keep you safe. Maybe you’ll have second thoughts after you see this video. One hot summer night in 1994 Tempe and Mesa Arizona police were involved in a pursuit with this suspect who ran into a stranger’s apartment to hide after being shot TWICE in the chest. He was shirtless and you can see the blood pumping out of those two wounds. What’s really frightening is just how agile this fellow is as he struts to the ambulance. If he was not handcuffed and had a knife or a gun, ask yourself if he could still hurt you, your partner or a hostage? If your jurisdiction demands that officers carry either the 9MM or the .40 Caliber S&W it’s time to show this video to your bosses and lobby to have the .45 ACP round authorized. The switch may well reduce the screaming by self-appointed community activists about how many rounds police had to use on a suspect. The really talented and courageous video journalist, Karen Ke...

The origin of the feature film, COME FRIDAY…

CLick On the pictures to see full size versions. Long ago there was a young lady I had the hots for in a big way (Yes, I know that hots is not a word). She was pretty, incredibly bright, and had some real elegance about her. She had a love for children and basic kindness that you don’t often see in someone her age. I met her parents and could understand she came from a much more stable home than mine. I was raised by a single, welfare mom and suddenly found myself way out-classed. For whatever reasons things did not workout they way I had hoped. Sadly for me, we went on our separate ways. From time to time I’d run into this lady in various places where our job had taken us. Whenever this happened my heart would skip a beat or two. I left my hometown Chicago, and moved to Arizona where I founded my detective agency. As a private eye and soon a TV news producer too, my career took me to the highest profile criminal events in Arizona and throughout the country. There’s no question that ...

America Will See Its Worst Race Riot Yet This Summer

Star Prosecution Witness, Rachel Jeantel Sanford, FL —Yes, the George Zimmerman trial here has thousands of African-Americans getting ready for some serious bloodletting. I don’t want to make idle and dire predictions but this nation has never been so divided and racially sensitive.  Our African-American President took sides on this case at the very beginning.  That ratified a George Zimmerman guilty verdict in the minds of millions. There’s just one little problem, and that is the murder case should have never been filed.  It was filed purely for political reasons despite the fact that it was a simple justifiable homicide.  Zimmerman was on the block watch lookout program and followed a suspicious Trayvon Martin after he used an improper entrance to a gated community.  Zimmerman was acting as the eyes and ears of the Sanford Police Department. Martin did not like being followed and knew that he could easily beat up the out-of-shape...
